The Perfect Chinese Chicken Salad

Bring on the crunch 🥗!

Have you ever heard of “eating your water”? Well you have now.

Eating your water is the idea that you can boost your hydration level by consuming lots of produce. One way to accomplish this? Make yourself a meal-sized salad.

With a line of sight to Memorial Day Weekend, summer is so close we can almost taste it. It’s a season of brighter days and lighter meals. If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious recipe, try my Chinese chicken salad! And if you’re an overachiever, consider the addition of fried wonton strips for an extra satisfying crunch!

Ingredients:

Chop and toss together

  1. Napa cabbage

  2. Bell pepper

  3. Chopped rotisserie chicken

  4. Navel orange segments

  5. Sliced almonds

  6. Green onion

  7. Cilantro

  8. Black sesame seeds

For the dressing:

Use equal parts, adjusting to the number of servings

  1. Hoisin

  2. Soy sauce

  3. Rice vinegar

  4. Sesame oil
